Cedarwood Terrace Market Update
Cedarwood Terrace is another of subdivisions that were built in the Cedar City Real Estate Market in the 1960’s and 70’s. It is located near Cedar High School just off of 300 West. Most of the homes are brick or have a lot of brick in them. I have heard the style described as the Atomic Ranch House. It is a neighborhood that is centrally located in Cedar City.
This is another really stable subdivision, there is currently only one home listed for sale in Cedar City. It is listed at $240,000, it has approximately 1640 Square feet on the main and a fully finished basement of the same size. These are 1/4 acre lots. It is another really nice area, close to everything!
Market Update 2/16/2012: There are currently no homes listed for sale in the Multiple Listing Service. There have been no homes sell in the past 12 months. Cedarwood Terrace is really one of the more stable subdivisions in the Cedar City Real Estate Market.

Allard Ranch Estates Market Update 1/23/2012
Allard Ranch is another of the estate or ranch styled subdivisions in the Cedar City Real Estate Market. Allard Ranch is another subdivision that is closer to Parowan than it is to Cedar City. It is off of Old Highway 91 between Parowan and Summit. It is a subdivision that I have always liked. These are custom homes on acreage, 2 pluse acres per lot. There have been no homes sell in this subdivision in a long while.
Allard Ranch Estates was began in the early 2000′s and although there are currently no lots showing up on our MLS, there are still several lots that have yet to be built upon. This is a very stable subdivision. No homes have shown up in our sold files in the last 3 years.
Market Update 1/23/2012: There are currently no homes listed for sale in Multiple Listing Service. There have been no homes sell in the past 12 months. This is a desirable and stable subdivision. There is one lot listed for sale for $99,000 for a 2.9 acre lot. So you can still build your dream home should you desire!
These are nice homes, here are some photos:
Red Hills Subdivision Market Update 1/3/2012
I have mentioned before that one of the great assets in the Cedar City Real Estate Market is all of the smaller communities and cities that we work in. I am for today highlighting a subdivision is in Parowan, the Red Hills Subdivision. It is on the East side of Parowan near State Road 143. This is a nice subdivision in a really quiet part of town, this subdivision began in the early 1980′s but has had some newer homes built as well.
There are currently 2 homes listed from $177,000 to $187,000. Most of these homes are the standard ranch style homes with basements. They are lots that are .18 of an acre, or close to that size. Most of the homes are between 1000 and 1300 Square feet on the main level.
Market Update 10/31/2011 There are currently 3 homes listed for sale in the Multiple Listing Service. They range in price from $149,900 to $389,000. This is a very nice subdivision, right on the way to Brian Head in Parowan. This, like all of Parowan is a great asset to the Cedar City Area Real Estate Market!
Market Update 1/3/2012: There is currently 1 home listed for sale in the Multiple Listing Service. It is listed at $149,900. In the past 12 months there have been no home sell in the Red Hills Subdivision. There are also no lots for sale currently in the Red Hills Subdivision. This is a relatively stable subdivision and continues to be a great asset in the Cedar City Real Estate Market.
There are some two story homes and like I said some newer homes.

Scenic Saturday…More Southern Utah….
I have not felt real good all day. I haven't slept well all week and I think that it caught up to me today. Anyway, I didn't really get out and about much today so I wanted to share some more of the photos that we have taken over the past several months to show how much I am missing when I don't feel well!

365 Things to Do Around Cedar City #200…Tour the Monuments….
It is the Sunday before Memorial Day. One great thing to do today is to tour the monuments at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Cedar City. It is located at the top of 200 North at the intersection of 200 East. There are monument to those that served from every war since World War I. Darcy I and I toured them yesterday, it was a humbling experience. I am thankful for those who have served our Country! I may not have enough words in my vocabulary to tell them just how grateful I am, and even a heartfelt Thank You seems woefully inadequate!
Here are the monuments:
This monument is the Eastern Most Monument I am going to put the monuments in the order from the Eastern end to the other end around the corner and North.
This is a great park to visit there are benches to sit an reflect on the names of those who have served. Several of the memorials have allowed Veterans and their families to purchase paving stones with the soldiers name and rank on them and place them in the walk way as an added memorial to their service. It is a peaceful setting with the Little League Baseball fields in the background, on the other side of Coal Creek, sort of an instant reminder of why these soldiers sacrificed and served! Thank you!
Living in Cedar City…Congratulations to our Local High School Athletes…..
The High School Spring Sport Season has been completed and our local High Schools did VERY well in the competitions! They should all be commended for their excellence! I am beginning the run down of how they did with the Utah AAA State Track Champions Lady Reds from Cedar High School! What a great achievement after 3 consecutive second place finishes! Other sport results for Cedar High School, Boys Track AAA 5th place, Softball was also a top 5 team, the Baseball team qualified for the State tournament as well.
For Canyon View High School it was a tremendous year! They came up just short finishing second in the State in Baseball, Softball and Boy’s Track. It should be mentioned that the baseball and boy’s track team were both defeated by 3 time defending State Champions. What an amazing year! That is consistent excellence in those sports!
The Parowan High School Track Teams also did extremely well, the Boy’s took second place in AA State Championships and the Girl’s team took third place. Rickie Warr deserves some mention here she is a 5 Sport All State performer, Track, Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. Unbelievable accomplishment!
There were many individual State Champions and runners up in the events, they along with all of the High School Student Athletes should be commended! You have done a great job representing our community!
If I have not mentioned any team or individual, I apologize, I tried to keep up with the teams the best that I could!
